It is my understanding that a protein diet will dehydrate the cells in the body and it is my opinion that it would pose a grave risk to one's health. I prefer brown rice as a filler in my diet, I need carbohydrates for strength. I do not eat pasta or most breads because I consider them a false food even if industry labels carbohydrate. Fried potatoes would be a bad carbohydrate not because of the potato but because of the hydrogenated oil it is fried in.
